MarvinJrBeats is a Rising Producer to Keep Your Eyes On

MarvinJrBeats is a musician/producer that has been in the industry for more than 15 years. What first started as banging pens and pencils on bleachers to make beats, turned into a lifelong passion, profession, and source of income for the rising producer.

Marvin grew up in San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California where he really made a name for himself as a musician and producer. After spending 28 years there he packed his things up and headed to Houston, Texas to continue his journey. A current day in his life “looks like a lot of cell phone use, a lot of music production, and a lot of family time” , MarvinJrBeats says.

When speaking about his journey as a producer, Marvin touches on the facts that being an independent musician isn’t easy, and often takes failures and learning from those failures before seeing real success. The biggest challenges he’s faced through his career was trying to not sound like everyone else, and trying not to “trap himself in a box”. This producer clearly does a good job not trapping himself in a box as his sound is versatile, unique, and ear catching.

MarvinJrBeats currently is working on a project with Richfam Nate and Mr. Swipey called “Pieces”. Marvin produced the entire track, and the two upcoming artists from New York came together to complete the beat. Features and projects like this are nothing new to the producer that has more than 15 years of industry experience, and he says, “Don’t be intimidated to message me because I love to work with new artists all the time!”
